Open Control Center on your iPhone or iPad
Press and hold the Screen Recording button
Tap the Microphone button to turn it on
Tap Start Recording
Open FaceTime and start your call
Stop the recording from Control Center or the red status bar
Find the recording in the Photos app
On Mac, open QuickTime Player
Choose File
Select New Screen Recording
Click the Options menu
Choose the microphone you want to use
Start recording
Open FaceTime and make your call
Stop the recording in QuickTime
Save the video file
Make sure the other person consents before recording the call
