Drain pickle slices well and pat them dry
Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs or cornmeal
Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika into the dry coating
Dredge each pickle slice in flour
Dip into beaten eggs
Coat with breadcrumbs or cornmeal
Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F
Fry pickles in small batches until golden brown
Remove and drain on paper towels or a wire rack
Serve hot with ranch or dipping sauce
