Go to the official yt-dlp GitHub releases page
Open the latest release
Download the file for your operating system
Windows: download `yt-dlp.exe`
macOS/Linux: download the `yt-dlp` binary or install via package manager
Save the file to a folder on your computer
Add the file to your PATH if you want to run it from any terminal
Verify the download by running `yt-dlp –version`
