How To Drag Columns In Excel?

Select the column letter at the top

Move the cursor to the edge of the selection until it becomes a four-sided arrow

Hold down the Shift key

Drag the column to the new location

Release the mouse button when the insertion line appears where you want the column

Release the Shift key

If needed, use Cut and Insert Cut Cells instead of dragging

To move multiple columns, select all desired column letters first, then drag while holding Shift
