Draw a rectangle for the backboard
Add a smaller inner rectangle near the center of the backboard
Draw a circle below the backboard for the rim
Connect the rim to the backboard with two short lines
Draw a net hanging from the rim using zigzag or curved lines
Add a pole or support behind the backboard
Draw the base if needed for a portable hoop
Outline the drawing with darker lines
Erase extra sketch lines
Add color if desired
