Draw a small horizontal line for the waterline
Sketch a long curved hull below the line
Add a pointed bow at the front
Add a slightly raised stern at the back
Draw a vertical mast in the center of the hull
Add a triangular mainsail on one side of the mast
Add a smaller triangular jib sail on the front side of the mast
Draw a boom along the bottom of the mainsail
Add a small cabin or deck shape on the hull if desired
Draw a flag at the top of the mast
Add ripples or waves under the boat
Outline the drawing with darker lines
Erase extra sketch marks
Color the hull, sails, and water
