Sketch the basic cliff shape
Draw the top edge where the water begins
Add the main flow of water falling downward
Vary the width of the waterfall as it descends
Draw smaller streams and splashes along the sides
Add rocks at the base of the waterfall
Sketch mist or spray where the water hits the bottom
Draw ripples or waves in the pool below
Add shading to the cliff and rocks
Add highlights and texture to the water
Refine the outlines and clean up extra lines
