Sit in the driver’s seat and fasten the seat belt if available
Make sure the cart is in good condition and the path is clear
Insert the key or power on the cart
Select the forward or reverse direction
Keep your foot on the brake
Release the parking brake if engaged
Press the accelerator gently to start moving
Steer smoothly with both hands on the wheel
Slow down before turns, slopes, and stops
Use the brake pedal to stop the cart
Shift to neutral or park if the cart has those settings when stationary
Turn off the cart and remove the key when finished
