Remove damaged or yellow leaves

Tie small bundles of stems together

Hang the bundles upside down in a warm, dry, dark, well-ventilated area

Keep bundles spaced apart for airflow

Leave until the leaves are crisp and crumble easily

Strip the dried leaves from the stems

Store dried sage in an airtight container

Keep the container in a cool, dark place

Check for any remaining moisture before storing

Use a dehydrator on a low setting if preferred
