Brush hair to remove tangles
Gather a section at the top of the head
Divide the section into three equal strands
Cross the right strand under the middle strand
Cross the left strand under the new middle strand
Add a small section of hair to the right strand
Cross the right strand under the middle strand
Add a small section of hair to the left strand
Cross the left strand under the middle strand
Repeat alternating sides while adding hair
Keep the braid tight and centered
Continue until all hair is included
Braid the remaining length normally
Secure the end with an elastic band
