Burp the baby during and after feedings
Feed in a more upright position
Keep the baby upright for 15 to 30 minutes after feeding
Check that the bottle nipple flow is appropriate
Try smaller, more frequent feedings
Make sure the baby latches well during breastfeeding
Gently bicycle the baby’s legs
Give the baby supervised tummy time when awake
Massage the baby’s belly gently
Swaddle the baby if it helps them relax
Use slow, calm rocking or holding
Reduce air swallowing by keeping feedings calm and paced
Check with a pediatrician if gas is severe, persistent, or with other symptoms
