Open The Sims 4
Load your save or start a new game
Open the household you want to edit
Press Esc
Select Manage Worlds
Select the household
Click Edit Household in Create a Sim
Make your changes
Click the checkmark to save
To edit a Sim already in live mode, open the cheat console
Press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC
Press Command + Shift + C on Mac
Type testingcheats true
Press Enter
Type cas.fulleditmode
Press Enter
Shift-click the Sim
Select Modify in CAS
Edit the Sim
Click the checkmark to save
To edit a Sim in Create a Sim, select the Sim
Change traits, appearance, clothing, and name
Save the household when finished
To edit a Sim after moving in, use a mirror, dresser, or wardrobe for clothing changes
Use a mirror for makeup and facial hair
Use a dresser or wardrobe for outfit changes
To edit a child or teen Sim fully, use CAS full edit mode
To edit a Sim in the gallery, open the Gallery
Select the household
Choose Place Household or Edit in CAS
