Open **BIOS/UEFI** setup (restart PC and press **Del**, **F2**, **F10**, or **Esc** during startup)
Find **Security**, **Advanced**, or **Trusted Computing** section
Set **TPM** to **Enabled** (or **TPM 2.0** / **Discrete TPM** / **TPM Device**)
If there is a **TPM Mode** option, select **TPM 2.0**
If prompted, choose **Clear/Initialize TPM** and confirm
Save changes and reboot (**Save & Exit**)
Verify in **Windows**:
Press **Win + R**, type **tpm.msc**, press **Enter**
Confirm **Specification Version** shows **2.0**
Confirm **Status** is **The TPM is ready for use**
If **tpm.msc** shows TPM not found or version is not 2.0:
Re-enter **BIOS/UEFI**
Confirm **TPM is enabled** and **TPM 2.0** is selected
Check for **Intel PTT** (AMD fTPM/PSP) and enable the corresponding option
Disable **Legacy/CSM** if present, then enable **UEFI mode** (if required by your system)
Save and reboot, then re-check **tpm.msc**
