Finish the last stitch of your final row
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail of 4 to 6 inches
Pull the yarn tail through the last loop to secure it
Weave the tail through nearby stitches with a yarn needle
Weave in the starting tail the same way
Trim any excess yarn close to the work
Add a border if desired before weaving in all ends
Block the blanket if needed to help it lay flat
