Back up any important data
Charge the tablet or keep it plugged in
Open Settings
Tap System or General management
Tap Reset options or Backup and reset
Tap Factory data reset
Review the items that will be erased
Tap Reset tablet or Erase all data
Enter your PIN, password, or pattern if prompted
Confirm the reset
Wait for the tablet to erase and restart
Set up the tablet again after it restarts
