Go to the Fire TV home screen
Select Settings
Select My Fire TV
Select Reset to Factory Defaults
Confirm by selecting Reset
Wait for the Firestick to restart and reset
If the remote is not working, press and hold the Back button and the Right side of the navigation ring for about 10 seconds
Follow the on-screen prompt to reset the device
If needed, use the Fire TV app as a remote to navigate to the reset option
