Connect the printer to a phone line or fax-enabled network
Load the document into the scanner or automatic document feeder
Press the Fax button or select Fax mode on the printer
Enter the recipient’s fax number
Adjust fax settings if needed
Press Start, Send, or Fax to transmit the document
Wait for the confirmation report or transmission status
Save or print the fax confirmation if needed
