Use the wind chill formula:
Wind Chill = 35.74 + 0.6215T – 35.75(V^0.16) + 0.4275T(V^0.16)
T = air temperature in degrees Fahrenheit
V = wind speed in miles per hour
Use the formula only when temperature is 50°F or lower and wind speed is above 3 mph
Convert temperature to Fahrenheit if needed
Convert wind speed to miles per hour if needed
Substitute the values into the formula
Calculate the result
Round to the nearest whole number if desired
Use a wind chill chart if you do not want to calculate it manually
