Write the street address or P.O. box below the name
Write the apartment, suite, or unit number on the same line or the line above if needed
Write the city, state, and ZIP code on the next line
Write your return address in the upper left corner
Write your full name on the first return address line
Write your street address or P.O. box on the next line
Write your city, state, and ZIP code on the last line
Place the postage stamp in the upper right corner
Make sure all addresses are clear and easy to read
Use black or blue ink if writing by hand
Put the envelope in the mailbox or take it to the post office
