Open Instagram
Tap the plus icon to create a post, Reel, or Story
Select or capture a photo or video
Swipe left or right on the editing screen to browse available filters
Tap a filter to apply it
For Stories, open the camera and swipe through the filter carousel at the bottom
Tap Browse Effects to find more filters
Use the search bar in Effects Gallery to look for specific filters
Save a filter by tapping the save icon if available
Check filters used by other users by tapping the effect name on their Story or Reel
Tap Try It or Save Effect to use it yourself
