Arrange the data in ascending order
Find the median of the data set
Find the first quartile by taking the median of the lower half of the data
Find the third quartile by taking the median of the upper half of the data
Subtract the first quartile from the third quartile
Use the formula: Quartile Range = Q3 – Q1
