Look at the bottom left corner of the check
Find the first 9-digit number printed there
Use the routing number if it is the leftmost number in the MICR line
Do not confuse it with the account number or check number
Verify the routing number with your bank if the check is unclear
Check the bank’s website or mobile app if the routing number is not readable
Use the bank’s customer service if you still cannot identify it
