Wash your hands and trim/file your nails

Gently rub the clitoris or surrounding area if that feels comfortable
Slowly insert one clean, lubricated finger into the vagina if you want to
Move slowly and stop if anything hurts
Try different motions, pressure, and depth to find what feels best
Add a second finger only if it feels comfortable
Keep breathing and relax your pelvic muscles
Stop if you feel pain, burning, or discomfort
Clean your hands and any toys afterward
