Turn off the power to the affected circuit
Unplug or switch off appliances on that circuit
Locate the electrical panel or fuse box
Identify the blown fuse
Remove the blown fuse carefully
Replace it with a fuse of the same type and amperage
Restore power
Check whether the new fuse holds
If the fuse blows again, stop using the circuit
Contact a licensed electrician if needed
