Gather proper tools, including a heat source, suction cup, opening picks, and screwdrivers
Heat the edges to soften adhesive
Carefully open the iPad
Disconnect the battery before touching internal components
Remove the damaged screen assembly
Install the replacement screen
Reconnect all cables and secure the adhesive
Test touch, display, and buttons before sealing fully
Reassemble the iPad
If the damage is severe, replace the entire device instead
