Locate the leak by inflating the mattress and listening for escaping air
Spray soapy water over the surface and look for bubbles
Mark the hole with a pen or tape
Deflate the mattress completely
Clean and dry the area around the hole
Lightly sand the area if the repair kit requires it
Apply the patch or adhesive from an inflatable mattress repair kit
Press the patch firmly over the hole
Smooth out any air bubbles under the patch
Let the repair cure for the recommended time
Reinflate the mattress and check for leaks
Repeat the repair if air is still escaping
