Restart the iPad
Force quit the app using the keyboard
Check if the keyboard is connected properly
Disconnect and reconnect the Smart Keyboard or Magic Keyboard
Charge the keyboard if it is wireless
Turn Bluetooth off and on
Forget the keyboard in Bluetooth settings and pair it again
Clean the keyboard and iPad Smart Connector
Remove any iPad case or cover blocking the connection
Update iPadOS
Reset keyboard dictionary
Reset all settings
Try the keyboard in another app
Test with the on-screen keyboard
