Press and quickly release the Volume Up button
Press and quickly release the Volume Down button
Press and hold the Top button until the Apple logo appears
If the iPad has a Home button, press and hold the Home button and the Top button together until the Apple logo appears
If the iPad is frozen and unresponsive, connect it to power and try again
If it still will not shut down, let the battery drain completely and recharge it
