Check that the disc is clean and undamaged
Restart the PS5 and try the installation again
Make sure the console has enough free storage space
Delete any failed installation files and reinstall the game
Pause and resume the download or installation
Cancel the installation and start it again
Install the latest PS5 system software update
Update the game license by restoring licenses
Sign out of PSN and sign back in
Try installing the game in Safe Mode and rebuild the database
Change the installation location to internal storage or a compatible SSD
Remove and reinsert the disc if using a physical copy
Check your internet connection if the game requires a download
Disable and re-enable your network connection
Set the console date and time to automatic
Clear the cache in Safe Mode
Power cycle the PS5 by turning it off completely and unplugging it for a few minutes
Try installing the game while disconnected from the internet
Initialize the PS5 as a last resort after backing up your data
Contact PlayStation Support if the issue continues
