Check if the keyboard has a Win Lock or Game Mode key and turn it off
Try another keyboard to see if the Windows key works there
Restart the computer
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc and end any stuck Explorer.exe process, then restart Windows Explorer
Open Settings > Gaming > Game Mode and turn Game Mode off
Open Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard and turn off Filter Keys, Sticky Keys, and Toggle Keys
Open Registry Editor and check `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlKeyboard Layout` for a `Scancode Map` entry, then delete it if present
Run `sfc /scannow` in Command Prompt as administrator
Run `DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth` in Command Prompt as administrator
Update or reinstall the keyboard driver in Device Manager
Uninstall recent Windows updates if the issue started after an update
Check for third-party software that remaps keys and disable or uninstall it
Boot into Safe Mode and test the Windows key
Create a new user profile and test the Windows key there
Use Windows Update to install the latest system updates
Perform a system restore to a point before the problem started
