Stand the scooter on a flat surface
Locate the folding mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem
Press or pull the release lever or button
Lower the handlebar stem toward the deck
Engage the latch or hook to secure the folded position
Check that the scooter is locked closed before carrying or storing it
