Seek urgent care for bloody stool, high fever, severe dehydration, confusion, or trouble breathing
Contact a doctor before taking anti-diarrheal or anti-nausea medicines
Get medical help right away if symptoms occur after eating mushrooms, seafood, or home-canned foods
