Select the cell or range you want to keep visible.
Go to the View tab.
Choose Freeze Panes.
To freeze only the top row, select Freeze Top Row.
To freeze only the first column, select Freeze First Column.
To freeze everything above and to the left of the active cell, select Freeze Panes.
Click OK if prompted.
To unfreeze, return to View > Freeze Panes > Unfreeze Panes.
