Heat water to just off the boil
Measure coffee beans
Grind beans coarse
Add coffee to the French press
Pour in a small amount of hot water
Stir gently
Add the remaining water
Place the lid on top without pressing the plunger
Steep for about 4 minutes
Press the plunger down slowly
Pour immediately into cups or a serving container
Do not leave coffee sitting in the press
