Wait for processing, which may take several weeks or longer depending on service level and demand
Request expedited service if you need the passport sooner and are eligible
Renew by mail using Form DS-82 if your passport meets renewal requirements
Replace a lost or stolen passport by completing the required forms and reporting it immediately
Check the U.S. Department of State website for current fees, forms, and processing times
Verify Michigan-specific acceptance facility locations through local post offices, clerks, or county offices
