How To Get Burnt Smell Out Of Microwave?

Unplug the microwave and let it cool completely

Remove the turntable, roller ring, and any loose parts

Wash removable parts with warm soapy water

Wipe the interior with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar

Heat a bowl of water with lemon slices for 3 to 5 minutes

Leave the microwave door closed for a few minutes to let the steam work

Wipe down the interior again with a clean damp cloth

Clean the ceiling, vents, door seal, and around the turntable area

Sprinkle baking soda inside and leave it overnight if the smell remains

Place an open bowl of baking soda or activated charcoal inside when not in use

Run the microwave empty only if the manufacturer allows it

Replace any burnt or damaged food splatters, filters, or parts if needed

Keep the door open for a while after cleaning to air it out
