How to Get Cake Out of Pan?

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes

Run a thin knife or offset spatula around the edges

Gently shake the pan to loosen the cake

Place a wire rack over the pan

Invert the pan and lift it off carefully

Tap the bottom of the pan lightly if needed

If the cake sticks, warm the bottom of the pan briefly with a warm towel

For stubborn cakes, place the pan in a shallow warm water bath for a few seconds

Use parchment paper next time for easier release

Grease and flour the pan before baking
