Rinse the area with cool water immediately
Use a gentle cleanser or dish soap with a washcloth; rub lightly and rinse
Apply a small amount of shampoo and lather; let sit 1–2 minutes, then rinse
Repeat with cleanser/shampoo until dye lightens or stops transferring
Use baking soda paste (baking soda + a little water); gently rub 30–60 seconds, rinse, repeat if needed
Use petroleum jelly or thick moisturizer; massage in, leave 5–10 minutes, then wipe and wash
Apply makeup remover or micellar water; saturate a cotton pad, wipe repeatedly, then wash
Use rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) on a cotton pad for stubborn dye; wipe briefly, rinse, then moisturize
Use hydrogen peroxide 3% on a cotton pad for light stains; dab briefly, rinse, and moisturize
Use nail polish remover (acetone-free first; acetone only if needed) on a cotton pad for small spots; wipe briefly, rinse, and moisturize
Try a color-safe stain remover made for skin (follow label directions)
If dye is around hairline/eyebrows, use a cotton swab to target only stained areas
After removal, moisturize the skin to reduce dryness or irritation
Avoid scrubbing aggressively, especially on face/around eyes
Stop if you experience burning, rash, or swelling; rinse thoroughly and seek medical advice if needed
