Ensure your Jio number is active and your phone supports eSIM
Check that your device is eSIM-compatible and updated to the latest software
Send an SMS from your Jio number to 199 with the text GETESIM
Follow the SMS reply instructions to confirm the eSIM request
You may receive a verification call or SMS to complete authentication
After approval, you will get a QR code on your registered email ID or via SMS
Open your phone’s eSIM settings and scan the QR code
Complete the eSIM activation steps on your device
Restart your phone if required
Keep your physical SIM active until the eSIM is fully activated
