Let the glue dry completely
Scrape off excess glue gently with a dull knife or spoon
Place the stained area face down on a clean paper towel
Dab the back of the stain with acetone-based nail polish remover using a cotton ball
Test acetone on a hidden area first
Blot the softened glue with a clean cloth
Rinse the area with cold water
Repeat if needed
Wash the clothing according to the care label
Air dry and check the stain before using heat
If acetone is not safe for the fabric, use rubbing alcohol or take it to a dry cleaner
