Dry-erase over the permanent marker with a whiteboard marker, then wipe immediately
Apply rubbing alcohol to a cloth and rub the marks off
Use hand sanitizer on a soft cloth and wipe the area
Spray a small amount of whiteboard cleaner and wipe clean
Use a dry cloth to remove residue after cleaning
Repeat as needed until the marker is gone
Test any cleaner on a small area first
