Wash feet daily with soap and water
Dry feet thoroughly, especially between the toes
Change socks daily, or more often if they get damp
Wear clean, breathable socks made from cotton or moisture-wicking materials
Rotate shoes and let them air out between wears
Wear shoes made from breathable materials
Use foot powder or antifungal powder
Apply antiperspirant to the feet
Soak feet in vinegar or Epsom salt solution
Trim toenails regularly and keep them clean
Remove dead skin with a pumice stone or foot file
Avoid wearing the same shoes every day
Use odor-fighting insoles
Treat athlete’s foot or other fungal infections if present
See a doctor if the odor persists or is severe
