Check if the streak has expired within the last 24 hours
Open Snapchat and look for the hourglass or streak lost message
Send a Snap to the friend immediately if the streak is still recoverable
Make sure both of you have sent Snaps, not chats, within the required time window
Update Snapchat to the latest version
Restart the app and your phone
Check your internet connection
Log out and log back into Snapchat
Clear Snapchat cache in the app settings
Contact Snapchat Support through the app
Submit a streak restore request if the option is available
Include the friend’s username and the approximate date the streak was lost
Ask your friend to send a Snap back right away
Keep sending one Snap each day to maintain the restored streak
