Use a water flosser/syringe with low pressure to target the tonsil area carefully
Try a gargle made with diluted hydrogen peroxide (3%): mix 1:1 with water and gargle briefly, then spit; limit to a few days
Use mouthwash as directed to reduce bacteria and buildup
Stay well hydrated and maintain good oral hygiene (brush twice daily, floss daily)
Quit smoking and limit alcohol-based mouthwashes if they irritate your throat
If a stone is visible and easy to remove, gently dislodge with a clean cotton swab (avoid digging)
Seek urgent care if you have trouble breathing, severe throat swelling, or inability to swallow
See an ENT if stones are frequent, large, painful, or associated with fever, bad breath that won’t improve, or persistent sore throat
