Stir until the sugar dissolves
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker
Churn according to the machine instructions
Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container
Cover the container tightly
Freeze for 2 to 4 hours until firm
Scoop and serve
Store leftovers in the freezer
