Let the wax harden completely
Scrape off excess wax gently with a dull knife or credit card
Place the fabric between paper towels or brown paper bags
Press with a warm iron on low heat to transfer wax into the paper
Replace the paper and repeat until no more wax transfers
Treat any remaining stain with dish soap or laundry stain remover
Wash the garment according to the care label
Check that the stain is gone before drying
Repeat the process if needed before using heat again
