Turn off the vehicle and set the wipers to the parked position
Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield
Locate the release tab, clip, or locking mechanism on the wiper blade
Press or lift the release tab
Slide the blade downward or outward to detach it from the arm
If there is a hook-style arm, rotate the blade until it unhooks
If there is a pin-style or side-lock arm, remove the retaining clip or pin first
Pull the blade straight off once it is released
Lower the bare wiper arm carefully back onto the windshield or hold it securely
Repeat for the other blade if needed
