Press Alt + Enter in Windows
Press Control + Option + Return on Mac
Enable Wrap Text if you want the line break to display properly
Double-click the cell or press F2 before using the shortcut to edit the cell
On some Mac keyboards, use Option + Command + Return if Control + Option + Return does not work
