Preheat the grill to medium heat, about 350 to 400°F
Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels
Season the drumsticks with salt, pepper, and any desired spices or marinade
Oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking
Place the drumsticks on the grill over indirect heat
Close the lid and cook for 20 to 25 minutes
Turn the drumsticks every 5 to 7 minutes for even cooking
Move the drumsticks over direct heat during the last 5 to 10 minutes to crisp the skin
Grill until the internal temperature reaches 165°F at the thickest part
Remove the drumsticks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes
Serve immediately
