Remove seeds from a ripe lemon
Rinse seeds to remove pulp
Soak seeds in water for 24 hours
Select plump, undamaged seeds
Plant seeds 1/2 inch deep in moist potting mix
Use a small pot with drainage holes
Keep soil warm and consistently moist
Cover pot with plastic wrap or a humidity dome
Place pot in bright, indirect light
Remove cover once seedlings emerge
Water when the top soil feels slightly dry
Transplant seedlings to larger pots as they grow
Move the tree outdoors only after frost danger has passed

Prune to shape the tree as needed
